Premier Work Support's Client is hiring an IT Systems Administrator. This role is Monday to Friday, 8 am-5 pm. The ideal candidate should have 2 years of knowledge of computer and network components and their functions.
Role Responsibilities:
Administrate IT resources:
- Assist in developing IT policies and standards
- Ensure the availability of IT resources
- Implement system configurations
- Maintain asset and incident management systems
- Monitor systems availability and performance
- Administer information assets
Provide back-end support:
- Assist users with application operations
- Connect with 3rd parties for assistance
- Record and respond to incidents
- Report significant incidents to the IT manager
- Support other IT roles with implementing solutions
Follow IT processes:
- Maintain support and feedback records
- Review process performance
- Maintain procedures
Assist with IT resource implementation:
- Assist with physical operations
- Be prepared to work outside office hours
Participate in IT team interactions:
- Assist with process development
- Assist with strategic decision-making
- Attend team meetings
- Communicate ideas or concerns
Encourage a healthy IT environment:
- Keep department areas clean and tidy

Experience:
- At least 2 years in a similar role
- Knowledge of computer and network components
- Administration of Microsoft Windows 2022 Server OS
- Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and NPS
- Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
- Change management involvement
- Administration of information assets
Record of achievement:
- Microsoft Windows Server Administration certification
- Microsoft Active Directory administration certification
- Microsoft 365 administration certification
Skills:
- Windows server configuration and fault finding
- Microsoft on-premises and cloud system administration
- Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation
