Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed 2D/3D design drawings and layouts using AutoCAD based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to develop concepts and designs.
  • Produce technical drawings and construction documentation for systems, including glass, metal, stone, and other materials.
  • Ensure that designs comply with relevant building regulations and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely delivery of designs and modifications as required.
  • Review and update designs throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
  • Conduct material research and propose appropriate materials that meet aesthetic, structural, and sustainability criteria.
  • Resolve technical and design challenges during the design and construction phases.
  • Maintain organised project documentation and file management for all design iterations and final drawings.
  • Attend project meetings to present and discuss facade designs and updates.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field ideal.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and industry standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
