Graduate Manufacturing Engineer required for my client based in Basildon, who specialise within testing systems for components, within a variety of industries.
The successful Manufacturing Engineer will join an in-house engineering programme and assist the Mechanical and Electrical Supervisors with project planning, task setting, budget clarification, budget tracking and timesheet accuracy.
Graduate Manufacturing Engineer Position Overview
* Shopfloor workload planning and engineering line-up scheduling.* Creation of machine build plans and task lists.* Identify and track hours spend vs budget.* Supporting the manufacturing projects manager with budget forecasting.* Ensuring accurate hours are being allocated and booked to projects.* Scheduling of "blue box" parts release form stores to manufacturing.
Graduate Manufacturing Engineer Position Requirements
* Degree qualified in a relevant engineering and manufacturing subject.* Able to read and understand mechanical, pneumatic and electrical presentations and drawings.* Proficient within MS Excel and other office packages.* Based within a commutable distance of Basildon, Essex.* Full UK driving licence is preferable.
Graduate Manufacturing Engineer Position Remuneration
* Salary - up to £25k dependent upon qualifications, skill and experience.* Working hours - 37.5 hours per week with an early finish on Fridays.* Flexible start times - Earliest start time is 7.30 am and latest start time 9.00am, therefore earliest finish time 4.00 pm and 1.00 pm on Fridays.* Hybrid Working opportunities (role dependant).* 25 days holiday initially, then after 5 years' service 1 extra day each year up to 30 Days. 3 of these holiday days are required to be used to cover the Christmas shut-down period.* Discretionary Company performance bonus scheme.* Enhanced company pension contributions following probationary period (employee - 3%, employer - 6%)* Life insurance for all employees.* Enhanced overtime rates (role dependent).* Training and development opportunities.
