RLE International are looking for an Integration Engineer to support and join our expanding team.
Position: Integration Engineer
Job Description:
Salary/Hourly rate - Negotiable
Work with the wider Exterior functional engineering teams to ensure that product development deliverables and targets, via Product Development System [PDS], are met and maintained.
Track the key open items and develop action plans in collaboration with the functional engineering areas and their respective x-functional teams. Actively support program sourcing strategies in line with Purchasing, Finance and Program timing needs.
Support the Finance and weight work streams and develop and communicate delivery/recovery plans, considering tough choices, within Program budgets & constraints initiate and maintain suitable tracking documents.
Support engineering deliverables for both Quality & Attribute Engineering. Support timing tracking exercises workstreams to ensure targets are met on time.
Actively support and lead x-functional issue resolution teams. Co-ordinate, schedule and document meeting outcomes as required.
Skills Required:
- Project management and negotiation skills
- Excellent PC skills fully competent in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other MS Office tools
- Be able to work on multiple priorities, both independently and/or collaboratively.
- Be an effective communicator with the ability to work successfully with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including senior levels and with external partners
- Strong interpersonal skills, Flexible with a positive can-do attitude, willing to support the team as well as individual tasks
Skills Preferred:
Good understanding of SharePoint.
Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes.
Understanding of Program business fundamentals such as TFLE costs, Weight management, VPPs etc.
Knowledge of vehicle Bill of Material tracking and reporting.
Understanding of PLM, VisMockup, Teamcenter, BoM and other Project Management tools.
Experience Required:
- Strong experience within automotive or engineering experience in PD.
- Knowledge of Body Interior Engineering commodities and an awareness of other vehicle area requirements (e.g. Exterior, EESE, Chassis, Attributes).
- Experience of managing engineering deliverables through PDS gateways
- Familiarity with global releasing process
- Experienced/confident in reviewing/presenting to colleagues and management.
Experience Preferred:
D&R experience, user of product development process, tools and systems
Design engineer experience in body interior
Previous Integration experience
Education Required:
A degree in Engineering/Science discipline or similar or have completed two thirds of a formal study towards degree course and commitment to complete studies, or equivalent experience.
Education Preferred:
Degree in Automotive Engineering or related field.

Hybrid working - 3 days on site
