iMPORT SEAFREIGHT CLERK

Overview: Provide an excellent customer service experience for customers including arranging shipment/deliveries, invoicing and all other functions as required

Preparing pre-alerts, liaising with customers to prepare work-filesCreating work-files for the customs team to complete entries onKeeping origin offices informed regarding any issues on shipmentsTrack and trace all shipmentsObtain pins from carriers for haulageArranging deliveries with hauliersManage KPI’s for Key accountsComplete delivery checksComplete invoicing on all shipmentsPassing invoices to account department for payment

The Role: Heavily involved with queries on a day to day basis, managing all communication related to work-files, ensuring shipments are not left pending for too long. The role is to ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing an exceptional customer service within the Ocean Import Department.

Salary based on experience c£30k

09:00am - 17:30pm
