Wealth Management - Client Onboarding Associate

Location:Basildon Essex(Full Time office based)

Salary/Day Rate:£45k-£55k

We are seeking a Wealth Management - Client Onboarding Associate to join a dynamic and fast-paced team within the Asset and Wealth Management sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to take ownership of the end-to-end client onboarding process, ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client onboarding, including AML/KYC compliance, documentation review, and due diligence.
  • Advise internal and external stakeholders on regulatory and documentation requirements.
  • Partner with client-facing teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks related to client structures, financial products, and regulatory changes.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing, team environment
  • Able to handle multiple events and tasks, making balanced decisions to deliver against conflicting priorities
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the onboarding processes.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in AML/KYC processes within Wealth Management or Financial Services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Risk awareness and ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
