Job Title: Mortgage & Protection Adviser
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Basic, OTE £45,000 - £55,000
Location: Basildon
About our clients and the role:
Swarm Recruitment is working exclusively with a growing independent mortgage firm looking to expand their team. Our client collaborates with several introducers, consistently providing a steady flow of quality leads every month.
As a Mortgage & Protection Adviser, you will cover two Estate Agency offices in Basildon and Wickford, with occasional travel to other locations in Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your experience in the mortgage industry and play a pivotal role in the growth of an independent firm.
Salary & Benefits:
- Basic Salary £25,000 - £30,000
- OTE £45,000 - £55,000
- Consistent leads from multiple sources
- Up to 25% commission

Working Hours:
- Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30 (No Weekends)
- Flexible working location including days from home
Desired Experience:
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Mortgage Adviser
- Fully CeMap qualified or equivalent qualifications
- Strong knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and market trends.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Motivated to succeed and provide outstanding client support
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Engage with customers face-to-face and over the phone
- Provide expert advice to clients on a range of mortgage and protection products.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and insurers.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest mortgage and protection regulations.
