A client of ours in the Basildon area are recruiting a European Road Freight Trainee to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying up to 24,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Creating/booking jobs and manifests in the company system
- Invoicing
- Obtaining and preparing documents for the Customs team to process
- Liaising with overseas agents
- Providing excellent customer care ensuring clients needs and expectations are met
- Filing
- General office duties
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Road Freight Trainee position:
- 1+ year office, admin and secretarial experience
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- GCSE grade 4/5 (C) or above in Maths and English
- Confident in dealing with customers/clients
- High attention to detail
