Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Systems Manager to join our dynamic team in Basildon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management systems, inventory control, and process optimization. The Warehouse Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse systems, ensuring accurate inventory management, and implementing improvements to enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain the warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure efficient and accurate inventory control.

- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations.

- Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

- Train and support warehouse staff on the use of the WMS and related technologies.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

- Lead projects to upgrade or replace warehouse systems as needed.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation of warehouse activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in warehouse management and systems administration.

- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Proficient in using technology to enhance warehouse operations.

- Strong communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.

Educational Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related role.

- Experience with WMS implementation and maintenance.
