Role Overview

TheMaintenance Engineerwill join the Engineering team of a leading Fresh Produce group. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flowand maintenance of critical operational machinery. Based at a state-of-the-art packing facility, the Maintenance Engineer will work as part of the team on a shift basis to ensurethat each production run operates smoothly, efficiently, and at maximum output.

Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and condition monitoring checks
  • Minimise downtime by effectively managing the Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP)
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements through a program of statutory inspections
  • Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety standards, company policies, engineering legislation, and relevant codes of practice

Maintenance Engineer Key Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in engineering maintenance in a factory / packhouse production environment
  • Strong understanding of production machinery, equipment, and systems
  • Ability to drive performance and contribute as a positive team member
  • Proactive mindset to maintenance and a keen eye for detail
  • A solid understanding of Health & Safety protocol, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
