A leading Tier One Contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to take charge of high-profile rail projects in the Basildon area. If you have a track record in subcontractor management, site leadership, and project delivery, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a company offering stability, career growth, and a competitive package.

The Role:

• Oversee site operations on major rail projects, ensuring smooth delivery
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to drive performance
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high safety standards
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to maintain strong relationships
• Lead site health & safety compliance, ensuring best practices are followed

What You Need:

• Proven experience as a Site Agent or Sub Agent on rail or civil engineering projects
• Strong background in subcontractor management
• Previous projects including piling works
• Knowledge of Network Rail standards and safety procedures
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Relevant qualifications (SMSTS, PTS, or equivalent preferred)
