A well-established yet rapidly expanding office furniture fit-out company based in Basildon is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee Installations and Logistics. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and play a key role in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the installations and logistics teams, ensuring all projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
- Coordinate and schedule deliveries, installations, and other logistics, ensuring effective use of resources and manpower.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage the performance of installation teams, providing guidance and support where necessary.
- Ensure health and safety compliance across all projects and sites.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure the efficient management of resources and costs.
- Work closely with senior management to help drive the growth and expansion of the company.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in operations management, ideally within the office furniture sector or a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics and installation processes, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices within the industry.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
- This is a full-time, permanent position based in Basildon.
