As a Collaboration & Innovation Lead Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of electrified powertrains, driving innovation, and collaboration within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. The role offers a competitive rate of up to £41.60/hr Umbrella (inside IR35).

What You Will Do:

• Lead and manage funded projects, ensuring delivery to timing, budget, and quality standards while minimising risks.
• Coordinate with external auditors to compile auditable evidence and reports.
• Identify external opportunities for collaborative R&D projects and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Establish cross-party collaboration agreements and support intellectual property disclosures and patent applications.
• Take ownership of large in-flight projects, leading multidisciplinary teams to success.
• Lead critical funding applications, driving the creation of compelling bids.

What You Will Bring:

• Strong project management skills, including budget analysis.
• Experience in coordinating and writing bids for funding (e.g., UKRI, Innovate UK, Horizon Europe).
• Working knowledge of the UK funding landscape.
• Proven track record of managing complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging across all organisational levels.
• Relevant educational background, preferably a Bachelor's degree in engineering, or significant industry experience.

Location:
