Premier Work Support's client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer. This role is based in Basildon and is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

The basic equipment is made by our principals in Switzerland. The client incorporates this and other machines into the lines, linking them with our own design conveyors, enclosures, air handling, electrical control systems, and ancillary equipment.

All mechanical design activities are completed on-site, which includes:

  • Layout design
  • Enclosure design
  • Conveyor design
  • Ductwork design
  • General mechanical design (sensor bracketry/equipment mounting, etc.)

They are looking to appoint a Mechanical Design Engineer to produce mechanical designs/drawings for their mechanical systems and equipment, working within a small team of mechanical design engineers overseen by the Drawing Office Manager.
