RLE International is working on behalf of their Essex based Automotive Client, who are currently looking for a Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer to support and join their expanding team.

Position Description:

Rate: £29.52 (via PAYE UMBRELLLA) increasing to £35.65 after 13 weeks under AWR’s – Agency Worker Regulations

Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer

VA engineers are responsible for establishing and delivering the fundamental layout of vehicles including the dimensions; mass balance; occupant positions and accommodation and the mechanical arrangement with geometrical compatibility. VA are the first engineering team involved in the programme and involvement continues to Job#1 and beyond.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent project and people management skills, with tenacity in resolving issues.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills; ability to interface with senior management.
  • Ability to resolve complex, multi-dimensional problems and present solutions with clarity.

Skills Preferred:

Knowledge of FEDE, PLM, CAE, CAD, Auros - E2KS and Digital Buck tools

CATIA abilities

Experience Required:

Delivery of vehicle programs

Experience Preferred:

Knowledge of commercial vehicle variants / configurations preferred

Education Required:

Degree in Engineering discipline

Additional Information:

**INSIDE IR35**

Hybrid working  - Dunton based -3 days on site – 2 WFH

Travel: Possibility - Europe
