Are you a proactive communicator, passionate about customer service and account coordination with a solid background in account management? We are seeking an Internal Account Coordinator for our client to become the linchpin between their customers and production teams, ensuring a seamless flow of information and top-tier service. Day to Day of the role:

  • Act as the lead point of contact for an allocated customer portfolio, providing regular updates and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with Production Management to ensure schedules are adhered to and any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Participate in daily production meetings, making necessary amendments to meet customer requirements.
  • Efficiently handle customer enquiries, directing them to the appropriate department when needed.
  • Generate works orders and process sales orders, understanding customer expectations for planning and production.
  • Proactively run monthly reports, highlighting risks and potential financial losses.
  • Coordinate logistics, including booking couriers, creating commercial invoices, and managing returns.
  • Maintain high standards of customer care, even during team member absences, and ensure smooth coordination between purchasing and production departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a customer accounts role is essential.
  • Previous experience within an account manager role is essential
  • A proactive approach with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively both individually and as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Experience using Factory Master (not essential).
  • Background in a manufacturing environment (not essential).
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
  • Account management experience.
