This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting student learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the absence of the regular teacher. You will ensure that students remain on task, complete assigned work, and uphold the school's standards of behavior. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about education and looking to gain valuable experience in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist students in the classroom during lessons.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students are engaged.
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Support students with their learning and provide guidance where needed.
• Report on student progress and behavior to the teaching staff.
• Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and materials.
• Provide feedback to teachers regarding student performance and engagement.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
• A positive attitude and a passion for education.
• Flexibility and adaptability to different classroom environments.
• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is advantageous but not essential.
