  • Location: Laindon
  • Job Type: Full-time (Temporary to cover long term sickness)
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Counterbalance Driver/Maintenance Person to join our team in Laindon.

This role is essential for someone with counterbalance experience who can also handle general repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, basic plumbing, carpentry, and changing light bulbs.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Operate a forklift with precision and safety within the workplace.
  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Conduct basic plumbing and carpentry work as needed.
  • Undertake painting projects to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facility.
  • Replace light bulbs and perform minor electrical tasks.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
  • Familiarity with general maintenance tasks including painting, basic plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Ability to perform small electrical jobs such as changing light bulbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
