About the Role
We are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineer whose main trade is Plumbing to join a leading property maintenance provider in Basildon. Working to deliver the best quality service, you'll carry out multi-trade repairs to a variety of social housing properties. Candidates will have excellent working Health & Safety knowledge and previous experience within a similar role. You'll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided), working efficiently and safely in line with best practices to achieve excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs to a variety of building services and demonstrate competence to multi-skill outside your core trade, including minor plumbing works, building work, possible grounds works, and drainage-related tasks.
- Be involved with refurbishment, planned, and reactive maintenance.
- Work with minimal supervision and have the ability to make decisions on the most appropriate repair or solution.
- Complete and finalise projects to a high standard and have the ability to self-snag works on completion.
- Play a key role in planning and completing a range of works associated with maintenance and planned preventive maintenance.
- Provide exceptional maintenance services to our high-profile client and go the extra mile to deliver to the highest quality standards in all areas.
Essential:
- C&G Craft or Level 2 in Plumbing or Multi Skilled
- CSCS Card - Blue or working towards
- UK Driving Licence
- Carpentry experience preferred
