We are working with a well-established precision engineering company with modern facilities in Basildon, who are looking to hire a Quality Inspector.

This is a full time permanent position working from Monday - Friday each week.

The successful candidate will be joining a highly skilled and friendly team.

Responsibilities:

Inspect machined parts and assemblies to check conformity

Inspect parts using CMM

Maintain up to date knowledge of inspection software (PCDMIS)

Complete FAIRS

Document nonconforming products

Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience using a CMM

Previous experience in a precision engineering / machine shop environment

Previous experience using a variety of inspection tools

Ability to read engineering drawings
