Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in engineering or mechanical engineering, preferably as a Quality Inspector in the aerospace sector.
Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 is required for this position.

We have been instructed by one of our clients in Basildon to recruit for a Quality Inspector.

This is a full time, permanent position.

This precision engineering company are well renowned within their sector for providing high quality products to a large number of multinational companies.

Brief overview of responsibilities:

Conduct inspections of aerospace components, sub-assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
Perform precision measurements using micrometres, callipers, gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other advanced metrology equipment.
Identify and document any deviations, defects, or non-conformances, and work closely with the engineering team to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.

Experience required:

5 years’ experience in engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably within the aerospace or precision engineering industry.
Experience of quality management systems (ISO 9001).
