We have been instructed by one of our clients in Basildon to recruit for a Quality Inspector.

This is a full time, permanent position.

This precision engineering company are well renowned within their sector for providing high quality products to a large number of multinational companies.

Brief overview of responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of aerospace components, sub-assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
  • Perform precision measurements using micrometres, callipers, gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other advanced metrology equipment.
  • Identify and document any deviations, defects, or non-conformances, and work closely with the engineering team to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.

Experience required:

  • 5 years’ experience in engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field. 
  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably within the aerospace or precision engineering industry.
  • Experience of quality management systems (ISO 9001).
