Company & Project:An award winning Tier 1 Main Contractor with a busy project pipelineare seeking to recruit aProject Manager to jointheir Construction Delivery team, working on a newly secured c£30m New Build Education project in Essex.

Our client is a well respectedemployer who have a healthy secured order book for 2025 onwards, including a number of projects valued at c£20m+. You will be expected to lead a c£30mproject, joining prior to the project starting on site.

Duties & Responsibilities:The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing all project management functions for the project, from planning, design and financial management, through to practical construction delivery of the project.

Previous experience in managing projects £20m+ as No1 PM is essential, along with a strong working knowledge of both pre-construction project management, contract management, H&S, and exceptional client facing skills.

Our client is looking for a candidate with a stable career history working for Top100 Main Contractors on projects from concept to completion and with experience of managing teams of 20+.

Desirable Experience:

Previously held Number 1 Project Manager roles with recognised Top 100 Main Contractors.
Experienced in delivering Construction projects £20m+ within any of the following sectors would be advantageousCommercial, MOD/Defence, Education, Scienceor Mixed-Use sectors.
Ideally from a Site Management or Engineering background, including a valid CSCS Card and ideally NVQ Level 6, BSc or MCIOB.
Exceptional client facing and people management skills, experience in leading teams of c20staff, including solid technical knowledge of planning, design, commercial and construction delivery.
Previous Roles: Senior Project Manager OR Project Manager OR Construction Manager OR Senior Building ManagerOR Contracts Manager OR Senior Construction Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:Degree in Construction Management or comparable qualification - NVQ/HNC etc. MCIOB status would be advantageous.
