About the Role:
A well-established steelwork specialist seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to manage financial and contractual aspects of various steelwork projects, from initial tender to completion. You'll oversee budgets, manage variations, ensure compliance with JCT & NEC contracts, and work closely with project teams to deliver projects efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial and contractual elements from tender to project handover
- Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring ongoing compliance
- Monitor budgets, variations, and implement effective cost strategies
- Work alongside project management to ensure timely, on-budget delivery
- Procure materials, enforce health and safety, and maintain regular audits
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience
- Knowledge of JCT & NEC contracts and CDM regulations
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; full driving licence
