Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver captivating lessons that ignite a passion for the past in students of all abilities
- Connect historical events to contemporary issues, helping students understand the world around them
- Encourage students to analyse historical events, interpret sources, and develop their own informed perspectives
- Contribute to the development of a dynamic and engaging History curriculum
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two professional references are required for this position
- Have a track record of successfully engaging and inspiring students in History
- Connect historical events to contemporary issues, helping students understand the relevance of the past to the present
