Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver captivating lessons that ignite a passion for the past in students of all abilities
  • Connect historical events to contemporary issues, helping students understand the world around them
  • Encourage students to analyse historical events, interpret sources, and develop their own informed perspectives
  • Contribute to the development of a dynamic and engaging History curriculum

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Two professional references are required for this position
  • Have a track record of successfully engaging and inspiring students in History
  • Connect historical events to contemporary issues, helping students understand the relevance of the past to the present
