We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Maths Cover Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school located in Basildon. This is a full-time, short-term position, starting in November after the half-term break. As the Maths Cover Teacher, you will:

• Deliver high-quality maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Cover classes in the absence of the permanent maths teacher, ensuring students stay on track with their learning.
• Follow the existing lesson plans, manage classroom behaviour, and provide support for students' progress.
• Collaborate with other staff members and ensure a smooth continuation of lessons.
• Work full-time at a well-regarded secondary school in Basildon, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience as a Maths Cover Teacher is desirable but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum and confidence in delivering lessons.
• Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for working with young people.
• Ability to start the role in November and commit to the position for the required duration.
