Science Teacher Job Share Part Time - Basildon - September 2025
At Engage Education, we’re recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work in a successful secondary school in Basildon. We are currently recruiting for a permanent Teacher of Science who can confidently teach across KS3 and KS4 on a part time basis to start in September 2025.
About the role:
This is a part time permanent role teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The role is 2 days per week and is a permanent post where you will be employed directly by the school. The Science department itself is incredibly experienced and they are looking for someone to join part time as a job share Teacher.
The school has well behaved students who are eager to learn and do well. The school has a continuous track record of receiving excellent academic results. This role would suit an experienced Science Teacher looking to drop their days down or maybe a returning teacher looking to go back into teaching part time.
About you:
- Have high expectations of your students
- Have experience teaching Science up to KS4
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status, ideally with a Science Specialism
- A real desire to make a positive difference to the students that you work with
- Have a passion for working collaboratively
