Academics are currently working with a lovely, nurturing Secondary school in Basildon, Essex that require an enthusiastic and committed Science teacher this September!

This role is ideal for ECT's who are looking to kick start their exciting new career as a Science Teacher. Benefit from an experienced ECT mentor that will provide you with all the guidance and tools to thrive in your new role!

Responsibilities:

** Deliver high-quality science lessons across KS3-KS4 consisting of Biology, Chemistry and Physics

** Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum

** Monitor and support the progress of all students, providing feedback to help them achieve their academic goals

** Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to learners

** Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

** Support extra curriculum Science activities and events

Requirements:

** Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

** Degree in a Science related subject such as Chemistry, Biology or Physics

** A passion for Science to pass on to learners

** Strong organisational and communication skills

** Experience in teaching Science between KS3-KS4
