The Role: Field Service Engineer £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Field Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team in the technical industry. As a Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and expertise to clients in the field. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
The successful candidate will travel from the base office in Basildon, Essex to service and repair technical systems throughout the UK.
Responsibilities
- Working for an established manufacturing company, the role is to service and repair machines across UK
- Installation of machines to customers and carry out software/hardware training
- Training will be carried out in house and shadowing, but some will require external training qualifications such as BOHS P601
- Overnight stays will be required if site visit is a significant long distance from office, but typical jobs will be up to 2 hours from base
Skills Required
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer is an advantage Working as a Field Service Engineer on both electrical and mechanical faults
- Good fault-finding skills BOHS P601
- Local Exhaust Ventilation is an advantage, but training can be provided
- A full UK driving licence
The Package
- Salary £30,000 -£35,000 + Bonus
- Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm earlier finishes once jobs have been successfully completed
