The mission is to empower our residents by offering them the resources and support they need to rebuild their lives.Role Overview: I am seeking a compassionate and experienced Homeless Accommodation Manager to oversee our accommodation services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the well-being of residents, and leading a team of support staff.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the accommodation facility.
  • Ensure a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for all residents.
  • Manage and support a team of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve service delivery.
  • Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders to coordinate support services.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the accommodation services.
  • Handle resident issues and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the homelessness or social care sector.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in homelessness services.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable individuals
