One of the world’s largest engineering companies and a global household name manufacturer is looking for a Java Software Engineer, Java Programmer with Google Cloud and Agile experience to work in it’s Originations and Risk space. This is working on new customer and financial risks systems and applications
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Java Software Engineer, Java Programmer - Google Cloud, GCP, Agile
> Develop, and maintain high-quality, secure, and scalable software applications.
> Support complex applications, ensuring delivery constraints are met.
> Execute software solutions, including development, testing, and technical troubleshooting, with a focus on continuous improvement.
> Gather, analyze, and synthesize improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
> Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore new and emerging technologies.
> Provide first-line production support to stakeholders, ensuring seamless operation of our applications.
Essential Skills & Experience
Java Software Engineer, Java Programmer - Google Cloud, GCP, Agile
> 2-5 years Java programming experience
> Test Driven Development - TDD
> Agile XP
> Google Cloud Platform - GCP
> Some knowledge of financial systems desirable (not essential)
