Academics are working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Chelmsford. They have a vacancy for an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join them in February (or sooner for the successful applicant).

Within this role, you will be working with a lovely girl in reception class. She has diagnosed ASD and is extremely sweet and polite. She needs help staying on task and completing her learning objectives.

This is a great position with an outstanding school for a dedicated graduate or an experienced SEN TA. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career TA, aspiring teacher, educational psychologist or speech and language therapist to thrive in the early stages of your career.

Key responsibilities within the role:

  • Providing support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
  • Building and maintaining successful relationships with students, whilst treating them with respect and consideration
  • Have the highest expectation that every student will make sustained academic and personal progress
  • Ensure that every pupil is ready for the next steps in their learning and is supported to participate and contribute to
