This is a perfect role to provide a valuable experience for aspiring Primary School Teachers, Speech and Language therapists, Counsellors, Psychologists.

Academics are working with a fantastic school located in Basildon, who are looking for a graduate or experienced SEN teaching assistant to start ASAP. Previous experience (formal or informal) with SEN children would be an advantage.

This school offers permanency and teacher training for the right candidate. This school has a team of supportive and friendly staff. It has a good OFSTED rating with the aim to become outstanding. The students are very eager to learn and well behaved.

About the Teaching Assistant Role

Provide support to pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2.
Work with groups of children to carry out valuable Phonics interventions.
Assist with students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Speech and Language issues.
Use your creativity and imagination to excite the pupils.
Communicate with teachers and parents.

Ideal Primary Teaching Assistant

Previous experience working with children.
A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish within.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities!
