Are you a dedicated and compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistant looking to make a difference in a nurturing and inclusive primary school? We are seeking an experienced professional to join this supportive team in Basildon, starting in January 2024.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and group support to children with special educational needs, ensuring they can access and engage in their learning.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to implement tailored strategies and interventions.
- Support children with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech and language difficulties, and sensory impairments.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child feels valued and empowered.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: A proven track record of working as an LSA in an SEND or primary school setting.
- Skills: Strong understanding of SEND, with the ability to adapt to individual needs and learning styles.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in child care or SEND support are desirable but not essential if you bring hands-on experience.
- Attributes: Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping every child reach their potential.

- Monday-Friday, term-time only.
- Location: Basildon.
- £83-£100 per day
- Start Date: January 2024.
