A thriving, mainstream Primary School in Basildon is seeking a dedicated, hard-working and caring individual to join their friendly team as an Assistant SEN Teacher. This role is due to commence as soon as possible and is on a long-term contract with the possibility of going permanent. Paid Teacher training may also be offered from August 2025.

As the appointed Assistant SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for managing student's behaviour and support their progress and well-being. You will work with student's both inside and out of the classroom. In addition to providing academics support, you will also teach vital social skills.

This role would be best suited to someone who aspires to be a Teacher in the future. You will gain fantastic experience with a variety of SEN & complex needs, while also being trained in a number of schemes and policies used across the school.
