About the Role:We are seeking passionate, dedicated, and qualified SEN Tutors with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) to join our supportive and dynamic team in Basildon. As an SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they have access to the best possible learning experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of individual students with SEN.
  • Create and implement personalised learning plans and strategies to support student progress.
  • Use various teaching resources, approaches, and techniques to ensure inclusive and effective learning.
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to track student progress and provide regular updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievements and assessments.
  • Support students both in one-on-one and group settings, providing both academic and emotional support.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience working with students with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and the ability to adapt lessons accordingly.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential.
  • A proactive, flexible approach to teaching and problem-solving.
