Job Advertisement: Electrical Biased Supervisor
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (OTE £60,000+)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Are you a fully qualified electrical professional with AP (Authorised Person) status in HV or LV systems? Do you have a hands-on approach, along with mechanical and plumbing experience? If so, we want you to join our team as an Electrical Biased Supervisor for a commercial building in Basildon.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Oversee and manage a small team of engineers, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards.
- Electrical Maintenance: Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Authorised Person Duties: Take responsibility for HV or LV systems as an AP, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Hands-On Role: Engage in practical tasks, supporting your team with mechanical and plumbing works when required.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work meets health, safety, and compliance standards.
- Coordination: Manage subcontractors and collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless service.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and team performance.
- Fully electrically qualified (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395, 18th Edition).
- Hold Authorised Person (AP) status in either HV or LV systems.
- Proven supervisory experience in a commercial or industrial environment.
- Hands-on expertise in mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Competitive Salary: £50,000 - £55,000, with on-target earnings of £60,000+.
