Senior Transport Planner

Senior Transport Planner - Basildon - Up to 40,000

A global multisite logistics company are looking for a Transport Planner to join their team in Basildon.

As Transport Planner, you will be working with a team of Planners coordinating multi drop vehicles including pallet network. Working with subcontractors routing vehicles and containers UK wide. You will be planning a high number of containers throughout the week.

Full time:

• Monday to Friday - 12:00 - 20:30

Responsibilities:

• Assist the manager with the smooth running of the transport team
• Optimize planning for multi-stop collection & delivery routes within legal requirements.
• Monitoring driver performance.
• Assist with driver booking.
• Booking with 3rd party hauliers.

Requirements:

• Managers CPC is Essential
• Multi drop experience required
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• 2 Years' experience as a Transport Planner
