A rapidly growing company with over 40 years of success in the truck and trailer hire and leasing industry. Our commitment to outstanding customer service sets us apart, and we are now looking for a driven Depot Manager to join the team at the Basildon location.
The Role
As the Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the management of our busy depot, ensuring efficient operations while driving business growth. Your key duties will include:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the depot.
Driving sales and business development to expand our customer base.
Managing staff recruitment, training, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Overseeing vehicle management, ensuring optimal availability and condition.
Coordinating maintenance and workshop management to uphold service standards.
What We're Looking For
A self-starter who is motivated, proactive, and an excellent communicator. The ideal candidate will have:
Strong experience in commercial vehicle rentals.
A background in sales and operations, with a track record of business growth.
Leadership skills to manage and develop staff effectively.
A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 8AM - 6PM (1-hour lunch) + every third Saturday, 8AM - 12PM.
Competitive salary: 35,000 - 38,000 per annum + commission.
