Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Sea Freight Operations Coordinator (Exports) to join our friendly and proactive Client in Basildon, Essex to enhance their Sea Freight Operations team and grow into the next level.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the Team Leader and Sea Freight Manager in the execution of their duties in support of the departmental vision of the company to become more competitive and profitable.
  • Ensure all duties/VAT is charged correctly upon invoicing and collect any monies due in line with SOPs
  • Complete all Import, Export and Cross Trade activities correctly and on time ensuring the Customs declaration forms are completed correctly.
  • Immediately report any errors to the customs declaration forms to line manager and customs claims.
  • Correctly complete all customs import declaration forms.

You will need:

  • Experience in road transport, logistics or haulage (Desirable but not essential)
  • Working knowledge of the CDS system both Imports and Exports
  • Must be flexible with their working hours - occasional weekend work based on volume
  • Must be flexible with their working hours - occasional weekend work based on volume
  • Sound knowledge using Microsoft office - Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Reliable individual with excellent communication skills.
  • UK Resident and the right to work in the UK.
