We are urgently seeing a Warehouse Operative for our Client - a logistic company. This role can be based either in Basildon or Stanford le Hope (Gateway). Working hours are 7am to 5pm. This is a temp to perm role.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Loading & Unloading of vehicles using forklift, pump-truck & hand
- Checking receipt of deliveries against all relevant paperwork
- Identifying & reporting incorrect deliveries and damages
- Movement of stock from the goods-in area to overstocks, picking/packing
- Stock replenishments
- General warehouse maintenance
Knowledge & Skills will include:
- Counterbalance Truck Licence would be advantageous but not essential
- Logistics experience highly desirable
- Attention to detail & good communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Knowledge of H&S & Warehouse procedures
- Full driving licence would be advantageous but not essential
Candidates will ideally have previous warehouse experience although this is not essential. Applicants should be able to lift heavy materials daily and be reliable, flexible & trustworthy.
