Are you a talented Financial Accountant looking to advance your career with an innovative and forward-thinking company? We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Basingstoke client, providing expert statutory accounting, management accounts analysis, and technical accounting assistance across the UK and Ireland.You will play a key role in shaping financial reporting accuracy, leveraging advanced business optimisation tools, and supporting senior management with critical insights. Your expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, and SAP will be crucial in ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.What will the Financial Accountant role involve?

Preparing statutory accounts for Group Holding and Logistics Companies.
Reviewing balance sheets for compliance and enhancing controls.
Ensuring SOX control compliance.
Leading communication with auditors for specific legal entities.
Staying updated with the latest accounting standards and applying them to financial reporting.
Managing and cleansing finance data for senior management review.
Collaborating with local, EMEA, and global finance teams on various projects.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accountant vacancy:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Expertise in US GAAP/IFRS and producing statutory accounts.
Proficient in SAP and Excel.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience in a Top 20 Accounting firm is preferred.
