Financial Controller | Basingstoke | Hybrid | £75,000  + Benefits

Are you an experienced Financial Controller looking for your next challenge? We’re working with a well-established, multinational business in Basingstoke, seeking a skilled finance professional to join their senior management team.

The Role:

As Financial Controller, you’ll be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting key business decisions. Reporting to the Cluster Controller, this is a high-impact role offering excellent career progression within a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Supporting business strategy with financial analysis and insights
  • Ensuring compliance with IFRS, IAS GAAP, and UK GAAP
  • Leading cash flow planning, credit control, and working capital management
  • Overseeing project accounting and profitability tracking
  • Acting as a key business partner to senior stakeholders
  • Managing statutory, tax, and audit requirements
  • Driving process improvements and financial controls
  • Leading and developing the finance team
  • Liaising with Group IT to oversee local financial systems

About You:

  • ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, IAS GAAP, and UK GAAP preferred
  • Multi-site and international experience
  • Proficiency in SAP, HFM, Exchequer (advantageous)
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and commercial acumen
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive financial strategy
