The role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract.Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing and managing financial reporting
  • Leading the budgeting and forecasting cycles ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives
  • Monitoring cash flow
  • Financial controls and compliance, ensuring robust internal controls are in place and aligned with regulatory requirements
  • Managing external audits and ensuring compliance with tax regulations
  • Mentoring and supporting a stable finance team, encouraging development and a culture of collaboration and efficiency
  • Driving automation, streamlining processes and implementing best practices
  • Collaborating with the Finance Director on strategic initiatives and one-off projects to add value
What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Financial Controller / Finance Director / Head of Finance / Finance Manager
  • Qualified ( ACCA / ACA / CIMA ) or QBE
  • Strong technical accounting skills, with commercial exposure
  • A background in the construction sector or similar industry
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and support a finance team
