About the JobThis is a hands-on role in an SME setting, focusing on management accounting and financial oversight. Joining on an interim basis for approximately four months, you will play a key part in integrating accounts, managing financial processes, and supporting a growing team.

Duties will include:

  • Integrating accounts from newly acquired businesses.
  • Collaborating with banks on account mergers and setups.
  • Preparing management accounts, month-end reporting, and cashflow forecasts.
  • Overseeing budgets, compliance, and reconciliations.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Coordinating with an outsourced payroll provider.
  • Supporting and mentoring an accounts assistant.
  • Potential involvement in a future system review.

About the Successful ApplicantYou will bring hands-on management accounting experience with strong all-round financial knowledge. Proficiency in Sage is essential, with familiarity in Xero and Sage Cloud being advantageous. Prior involvement in system implementation is a plus, along with a proactive and adaptable approach.
