Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (Negotiable)
Hours: Monday to Friday
We are recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established dealer group in the Basingstoke area.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an already experienced financed team consisting of 2 other Management Accountants, 4 Finance Assistants, reporting to a Finance Director.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations. We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of financial accounting and proficiency in various accounting software.
Responsibilities of Management Accountant:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Submitting management accounts
- Preparation and review of debtors/creditors
- Liaising with brand Directors in relation to the preparation of management accounts
- Supporting with preparation of monthly reports and profit comparison to forecasts
- Post month-end journals, including, accruals, and prepayments
- Assisting/Supporting other members of the finance team
Requirements:
- Background in transactional finance including purchase ledger, month end / management accounts.
- Previous experience using Kerridge/Keyloop would be an advantage
- Part Qualified in CIMA/ACCA or AAT, or QBE
- Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience in the motor trade, although not essential
- Detail orientated
