Qualified Accountant

August Clarke is hiring a Qualified Accountant for their Basingstoke based client.  A passionate independent financial services business, with a clear focus on growing their offering underpinned by excellent technology and a strong team of Accountants.   

They value their employees and offer flexible working conditions and prospects for development. As a Qualified Accountant you will undertake a Senior role with client collaboration.  

What will the role involve?

• Review of periodic management accounts and reports for multiple entities 

• Creation of timely financial reports for clients and handling of client investor queries 

• Preparation and review of statutory annual accounts 

• Collaborating with auditors, tax advisors and lawyers 

• Compliance reporting 

• Preparation & review of drawdown and distribution notices for the funds 

• On the job training and supervision of team members 

• Project work to drive positive change and improvement to policies and procedures.  

What experience is required:

• Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) 

• Excellent technical accounting skills 

• Prior experience in funds administration, such as private equity, private debt and/or real estate funds preferred.  

• Strong attention to detail and ability to plan effectively
