Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be supporting a fast-paced, international brand in the recruitment of a Senior Accountant to join their collaborative team.

We’re seeking a Qualified Accountant from a multi-entity business who is happy mentoring, developing, and supporting a team with a proactive, solution driven and enthusiastic approach.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for processing and coordinating period end close activities.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany and liaise with balance sheet owners as necessary.
  • Prepare Financial & management reports and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise accounting activity across international legal entities.
  • Managing journal processing through working with site & head office teams.
  • Creation of daily, weekly, and monthly flash reports in line with the centralised reporting strategy.
  • Ownership of relevant end-to-end process documentation.
  • Preparing monthly/quarterly internal financial statements with actual to budget results and preparing regular operational/financial measurement reports.
  • Supporting and partnering several divisional FDs and managers across a number of global sites
  • Managing and developing a team of up to 4 reports.

About you:

We are seeking management or financial accounting candidates who are qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA with experience of managing a team.

Candidates should be hands-on in their approach and equally happy supporting the team with their roles and month end responsibilities.

Experience of working in a multi entity corporate business would be preferred.

You’ll be a proactive individual who has some experience of process improvements/projects and enjoys working in a fast-paced, busy team-focused environment.

We’re looking for a good business partner who can liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders, locally and globally with exceptional communication skills.
