Description
- Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Participating in regular tax audits and payroll.
- Preparing budgeting reports and forecasting revenue.
- Managing month-end and year-end closing.
- Monitoring the daily performance of the accounting department.
- Organising financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
- Tracking the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
- Establishing accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company's targets.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
