CMA Recruitment Group is pleased to be assisting our Basingstoke-based client who have an urgent requirement for a Finance Assistant to join their established financial services company. This proactive position will ensure day-to-day financial functions within the office run smoothly by providing efficient and comprehensive support to central finance teams, contractors and communicating well with others. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis with a view to become permanent.Â
What will the Finance Assistant role involve?
- Daily office administration including answer incoming calls, daily post and emails;
- Updating and maintaining monthly returns spreadsheet;
- Processing invoices, maintaining petty cash, adding remittance advices for the current month;
- Producing client billing reports and BACS payment runs.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:
- Previous accounts experience in a busy finance environment;
- Strong communication skills;
- Ability to commit to working full time in the office;
- Experience of Iris accounting software would be an advantage.
